One day my mother asked me to go home. Once I got there, she asked everybody in our family to choose a governor whose religion is Islam. I refused because I disagreed with her logic. But mother kept on telling me to choose a leader based on his religion. When the Election Day came, I chose not to choose anyone.

During the martial law in Aceh (1998 – 2003) the possession on Indonesian ID by Aceh residents was another story. This special ID is different from the regular ID issued by the government, both from its design or the information written on it. The filmmaker tries to recapture his traumatic experience when he possessed this special ID through animation presentation.

A driver came to a poor and remote rural area to recruit mob-for-hire to be used in a demonstration somewhere else. A meeting there with one family and another driver dragged him spiraling down a violent lower class transactional world that would put his own humanity to a test.
