Workshop for GLAM experts in Indonesia
Digital technologies and the internet change the way people access information and encounter cultural heritage. By opening the access to their digital collections, GLAM institutions (galleries, libraries, archives, and museums) have great opportunities to engage audiences in new and interactive cultural experiences.
How can digital technology inspire GLAM institutions to rethink their status as centers of knowledge exchange? Which strategies can they employ in the digital era? What approaches can they use and what are the challenges?
This workshop asks to rethink the definition and functions of galleries, libraries, archives, and museum in the digital era.
