About Tanzconnexions
tanzconnexions is an initiative of the Goethe-Institut to connect dance practitioners, theoreticians and audiences, both within Southeast Asia and the Pacific and with Germany.
Within the framework of tanzconnexions, the Goethe-Institut aims to create a fruitful exchange between the dance scene in the region and Europe: Outstanding choreographers from Europe are brought to the region and new exciting co-productions are encouraged and commissioned within the region. In addition workshops on relevant topics for the dance-scene are being organized.
This regional dance platform www.goethe.de/tanzconnexions functions as a magazine on contemporary dance, easily accessible for audiences worldwide. It reflects current topics of the contemporary dance scene in Southeast Asia and Pacific.
