In the surroundings of St. Patrick’s Cathedral, the Bram Stoker Festival will show a rare film this year: "Vampyr", a French-German horror movie from 1932. Based on elements of J. Sheridan Le Fanu’s collection of "In a Glass Darkly" (1872) this film tells the story of the young student Allan Gray, who is seraching for the secrets of the French village Courtempierre.
Featuring a new score to be performed live during the screening by Matthew Nolan, David Kitt, Margie Lewis, Catherine Sikora, and Erik Friedlander.
