Bookclub in November @ Goethe-Institut Irland
Title: 1000 serpentinen der angst by Olivia Wenzel
We are pleased that a remote meeting of the book club will be possible despite our closure due to the pandemic. The book club on 11 November will take place online at 6.30 p.m. Please send your registration to library-dublin@goethe.de. You will receive an invitation to participate in the virtual room.
You love reading and discussing books written in German? We look forward to your participation in the discussion of your reading.
Our book club focuses on exploring the work of acclaimed German-language authors and takes place once a month to informally explore the ideas contained in the best works of German fiction in the beautiful rooms of the Goethe-Institut Irland library in Dublin.
The titles are usually works by contemporary authors and are not always available in English translation. A classic might be found on the list, too.
The Book Club is free of charge and meets once a month on the second Wednesday at 6.30pm. Participants either buy the title themselves, or borrow them from our library or the eLibrary (Onleihe). The language for discussion is German.
Next meetings:
09/12/2020: Franz Kafka, Erzählungen
