A child murderer terrifies the Berlin of the 1930s. The psychopathic perpetrator has already killed several children - now the girl Elsie Beckmann is missing. Because of the ongoing police investigation the underground gangster world can no longer pursue its lucrative business undisturbed. Therefore, it also decides to search for the culprit. But the murderer escapes them again and again. The search seems futile - until a fatal mistake leads to the criminal's downfall...
