A teach-yourself package that provides you with flexibility in terms of your time commitment and allows you to learn at your own pace. All with the proven quality of the Goethe-Institut.

Train your listening, reading and writing skills independently on our study platform. Learn independently without a teacher and with a variety of exercises developed by our teaching experts so you can track your own progress.  
The course can be booked for levels A1 to C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Overview of the German Online Training


Content
The German Training focuses on expanding your vocabulary as well as your listening and reading skills.

Structure
The training is divided into chapters that cover current and everyday topics. Each chapter contains approx. 30 listening, reading and writing exercises. In addition, the exercises include info boxes with summaries of useful phrases, grammar and learning strategies.
 
Supplementary materials
The summaries of useful phrases, grammar and vocabulary are available to download and print for your own personal use.
 
How to use the course
You‘ll learn German without a teacher and practise independently with a wide range of exercises, e.g. videos, images, audio files, reading comprehension passages and fill-in-the-blanks texts. The exercises and formats are aligned with the examinations of the Goethe-Institut.

If you prefer to learn with a teacher, we recommend the Deutsch Online Individual course. This course will provide you with targeted feedback and train your speaking skills with a qualified teacher. Maybe you prefer to learn in a group setting? In that case, we recommend our Blended Learning course or Online Group course.
