30,000 patents applications are processed in Germany annually and cover different subjects: energy, entertainment, environment, mobility, communication, optics and medicine.

The exhibition presents important inventions from Germany which affects the daily lives of each of us and does so in an interactive way. It shows historical inventions as well as potential future inventions in different subject areas. For example the car, the phone or the computer. The visitor is invited to read, test and to take part in the experience. The main goal is to change the view of Germany and the Germans and to focus on Germany as a research location and a place of study.
Following an interdisciplinary approach together with different thematic clusters and providing customized teaching materials and workshops, the exhibition “Inventions from Germany” combines linguistic abilities and an interest in learning German with advanced topics. A visit to this exhibition will support and encourage interdisciplinary and cross-curricular projects in schools.

The exhibition is suitable for science-oriented and German-oriented secondary school classes and a general public. We will offer a guided programme for school classes. We are looking forward to seeing you at the exhibition.
