Temporary Closure of the Goethe-Institut Ireland due to Covid-19

updated 18/05/2020

In accordance with the instructions of the Irish authorities, all departments of the Goethe-Institut Ireland will be closed from 12 March 2020, 6 p.m., to 08 June 2020, inclusive, until further notice.

Therefore, no in house events will take place until 08 June 2020. The Language Course Office and the library will also remain closed to the public until 08 June 2020.

However, we can still be reached via e-mail info-dublin@goethe.de and will be available to answer all inquiries relating to these measures within the usual opening hours.

The Language Department of the Goethe-Institut Irland will be closed until 18 May 2020. There will be no exams for now. We have switched all our courses to online lessons. From 20 April 2020 we will also offer new Blended Learning Courses as well as regular Online Group Courses.
Please contact us by email: german-dublin@goethe.de
or book online here.

The library's loans will be automatically extended until 30 June 2020. Material can still be accessed in our e-library, Onleihe.
