“So Close but so Far Apart: Living and Working as an Artist in Post-Brexit Ireland”

Next Tuesday, we will investigate post-Brexit Ireland (North and South) from a variety of creative perspectives. Join us when our diverse group of speakers identifies challenges and opportunities on stage and behind the curtains. Explore with us the implications of the fact that the UK has left the European Union for artists and cultural professionals. Together with Eugene Downes (Cultural Director, DfA), Sara Greavu (Curator of Visual Arts at Project Arts Centre), Dylan Quinn (dance artist), Jan Carson (writer) and others we want to understand better the social and cultural implications of Brexit on Northern Ireland, Ireland and all of Europe and explore whether it could turn into a cultural revolution or a cultural hiatus. No registration needed, join us via YouTube or Facebook! Click the link below to watch the event live next Tuesday!
