Irish choreographer Liz Roche and her company, with theatre maker Shane O’Reilly, sound designer Roy Carroll and costume designer Catherine Fay, have created a site-specific dance piece to mark the opening of the newly refurbished Goethe-Institut in Dublin.
Näher....closer, nearer, sooner moves the audience through the buildings at 37 Merrion Square on a condensed odyssey of encounters and emotion, discovering sounds, performers, spaces, memories and each other.
Within these new and old walls are layers of stories and memories. Visit the inhabitants. Share an intimate living room play. Inhabit the best moment of your life.
