To conclude the first year of the 2-year-cooperation between the National College of Arts and Design (NCAD) and the Goethe-Institut Irland, a series of events organised by students of the NCAD MA/MFA Art in the Contemporary World (ACW) together with Paper Visual Art Journal will take place at the Goethe-Institut on 29 May 2019.
The event starts with a transcription writing workshop with Christodoulos Makris, Irish poet, editor and curator, followed by a series of talks dealing with radical publishing in political and artistic contexts. Those talks, as well as the workshop, are part of the event series “a heap of language”, a collaboration between the NCAD and Paper Visual Art Journal. “a heap of language” focuses upon the different ways that language and visual art connect.
