The Goethe-Institut invites you to an evening of German culture and beyond.
Berlin based German-French duo Antoine Villoutreix and Karsten Lipp will take the audience on a colourful musical journey.
Students of the Masters programme "Art in the Contemporary World" at the National College of Art and Design will present a new exhibition in the Goethe-Institut's Return gallery.
„Beyond Borders – Stories of Freedom and Friendship“, a compilation of non-verbal short films for children and grown-ups will be shown throughout the evening.
Dublin historian and archivist Andrew Hughes will give a talk about the history of the building 37 Merrion Square.
German paper expert Gangolf Ulbricht will give insights into the art of making and restoring paper.
Audiences can support children’s literacy and creativity by buying books cleared from the shelves of the library.
Travel, work, studies, adventure? Whatever the reason, we can give you information on our language courses for all ages and levels. First lesson: How to … in German.
And there will also be some German food and drinks to sample.
