While 'Realism' is ruling an entire spectrum of various literary forms in Marathi literature, the very concept of reality still remains grossly unexplored by the Marathi writers and critics. When further extended, the fine nuances of external reality, internal reality for a writer is even more unexplored territory.

With a lot of advancement in the studies of Linguistics and Psychology and their co-relation with the literary language, it has become extremely urgent, important and imminent to understand the key concepts of external as well as internal realities and literary language.

Ganesh Kanate will address these issues in his lecture.
 
About Ganesh Kanate
A poet, author and critic, who takes special interest in aesthetics and philosophy.
He is an engineer by qualification but did his 23 years of career in journalism. Having spent most of his time in print journalism, he has also headed a couple of regional news channels in Maharashtra. Now, he works as vice president of Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Limited and also advises his chairman on business expansion issues.
