Activating students is one of the most important – and sometimes most difficult – challenge any teacher faces. The Goethe-Institut India has therefore put together a series of cultural events and competitions for German learners and German teachers so that German can be learned and taught in a fun way.
After the tremendous response to the Science Slam in 2023, we are pleased to announce the second edition of the competition under the umbrella of our ongoing international project Junioruni.
The national preliminary round of the biggest German language competition is underway. The final will take place in Göttingen in 2024. Being there is everything!

Dreamland Deutschland? invites South Asian students to share their diverse experiences during their initial days and weeks in Germany through written narratives. The project aims to create comics and graphic novels from these narratives illustrating cultural exchanges between Germany and South Asia.

In November 2023, Deutschstunde hosted the first digital Deutschstunde conference. For four weeks, teachers were able to take part in exciting lectures, practical workshops, and interesting discussion panels free of charge.

On the first weekend of March 2023, 04.03-05.03.2023, a series of online info-sessions took place where representatives of German universities and other organisations provided information about career paths with German.
