Chaat Meets…A New World Order is a call for action.
From the pandemic we are learning that the Old World Order, of Global Interdependence and Global Exploitation, as well as Commercial Economic Systemics have proven to be problematic to a good dignity of life across the globe - is what Garb-Age would like to help address.
On the 7th of November 2020, two artists Louwrien Wijers (Born 1941, The Netherlands) and Five Million Incidents Actant Shraddha Borawake (born 1983, India) share their unique collaboration across digital landscape on such diverse topics via a game with ‘Paani Puri/Gol Guppa’ and the research material Art meets Science and Spirituality in a changing Economy (AmSSE 1990) — a Mental Sculpture by Louwrien.
This is a live event, where audiences are invited to participate through the comments section, as the process of decoding the sensory language is performed by the two artists. Through the act of Coordinated Digestion and Direct Perception - a possibility for a New World Order, is explored and evoked in the discourse.
In this event, the artists tap into a new language, via the agency of food, to engage in discussion around the interconnectedness of Art, Science, Spirituality, Change, and Economics via the modality of the tastes such as Sweet, Sour, Crunchy, Soggy and Wholesome.
Can food be an actant for change? Can we erase our differences to listen and discuss deeply to the need for action via this universal agency called Digestion? How is AmSSE truly one of the five million incidents in the history of our world?
Under the support of Five Million Incidents grant, Shraddha is creating an archive of the Mental Sculpture -(AmSSE 1990) on the Instagram and Facebook Garb-Age handles.
