The sounds from Ukraine, beautiful guitar from Germany, the energising rhythm from India join together to create Bosque Magico. The music of Bosque Magico has influences from jazz, folk, indian, Latin and other forms of music. Each of these musicians has years of experience and has played all over the world. The sound of the oboe, silences, beautiful passages in music, high energy percussion solos, vocal percussion are all a part of this beautiful ensemble. Ralf Siedhoff was born in Weimar. After 1988 he specialised in acoustic guitar and started performing with the well-known Edwin Sadowski.
During this time, he gained repute as one of the greatest talents of the former GDR (East German) jazz scene. In 1990, he founded his own trio, performing and jamming all over Germany together with Eberhard Weber, Markus Stockhausen, Trilok Gurtu, Agnes Buen Garnas, Ramesh Shotham, Thomas Alkier, Prof. Ademola Onibonukuta, Kirstin Braten Berg, Chris Jarrett, Manuel Delgado, Sebastian Herzfeld, Wolfram Dix and many others.
In 1994 he organised the festival "One sky, one rhythm" in Weimar. Other projects include the Indian music trio Ganpati with Tunji Beier and Zoltán Lantos, resulting in the first album "Silkroute".
Ralf´s flexibility in connecting different styles and rhythms are the result of his studies with Ramamani in classical South Indian music at the Karnataka College of Percussion in Bangalore, and of his work with oriental musicians like Mohamed Zinelabidine, Jorgos Psirakis and Michalis Klapakis.

Karthik Mani hails from a family of musicians – his father, T.A.S. Mani is a renowned percussionist of "The Karnataka College of Percussion", and his mother R. A. Ramamani is a reputed ground-breaking Carnatic vocalist who has performed all over the world and has pioneered the genre of Carnatic-jazz fusion.
Karthik has performed in various prestigious festivals in India, China, Spain, Germany, USA, Turkey, Malaysia, Morocco,UK, Bangkok,Thailand, Canada, Ireland, Sweden, Switzerland, Indonesia and Australia.
He has performed with musicians like Ustad Zakir Hussain, Ustad Hariharan, Dr M. Balamuralikrishna, Padmashree Dr L. Subramaniam, Padmashree Kadri Gopalnath, Shankar Mahadevan, Loy Mendonza, Louis Banks, Padmashree Kavita Krishnamurthy, Carnatic Maestro Mandolin U. Sreenivas as well as international artists such as Kai Eckhardt, Ronan Guilfoyle, Okay Temiz, Ramesh Shotham, Mike Herting, African singer Mory Kante, Tunisian singer Dhafer Yousuf, Afro-Cuban percussionist Mokhtar Samba, Paul Shigihara, Lucas Niggli and trombonist Nils Wogram.
Karthik has worked extensively in the field of traditional Indian dance, contemporary dance, movies, folk rock, jazz, Carnatic, Hindustani, advertisements, percussion ensembles, theatre plays, Bollywood projects and more.

Mykyta Sierov was born in Kiev (Ukraine) and received his first music lessons at the age of six. From 1993 to 2004, he attended the Central Special School of Music in Kiev and subsequently moved to the National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music of Ukraine.
Early awards include 1st prize in the International Competition of Young Performers "XXI Century Art" in 2002, Vorzel, Ukraine (solo score) and in 2005 the Grand Prix at the same competition. Even as a student he was solo oboist in the "National Children's Opera" and later in the "Presidential Symphonic Orchestra" of the Ukraine.
He started in 2007 his studies at the Hochschule für Musik 'Franz Liszt' Weimar with Prof. Matthias Bäcker and graduated in 2014 with a master's degree.
As an orchestra musician, he played several concerts under the direction of Christian Thielemann together with students, professors of the music school and city orchestra in Weimar. He gained further experience in the classical field, in the "Kammerphilharmonie Leipzig", the "Philharmonic Orchestra Gera", the "Kammerphilharmonie Wernigerode" and at the Erfurt Opera under conductors Marek Janowski, Georg Biller and others, who were also associated with numerous guest appearances in Germany and abroad. These were partly documented by Radio Germany and the MDR.
Mykyta not only plays classical music, but also jazz and pop as well as his own compositions, with various chamber music groups. As a soloist, he gives concerts regularly in Germany and abroad.

R.A.Ramamani was born in Bangalore and grew up learning and performing Carnatic music as a vocalist in India. She is the first woman to present Avadhana Pallavi in front of the legends of the Carnatic music at Karnataka Gana Kala Parishat in 1974. She always had a creative and innovative approach towards music which led to her collaborations all over the world.
She is also the pioneering woman to present Carnatic music in fusion with western music. Her speciality is in retaining the purity of Carnatic music while being accompanied by western musicians on their instruments. She also happens to be the first and foremost woman to present konnakol in a concert. She has been a special invitee at voice festivals in Morocco, Austria, Vienna, Bremen, Lorrach and other places. She has also given special performances on jazz radio stations. Her mystical mastery over rhythm while scaling all the three octaves with effortless ease has always transported an overwhelmed audience into a magical sphere whether in India or abroad.
In 1980, she began the collaboration with Embryo and then the legendary saxophonist Charlie Mariano. The groundbreaking album “Jyoti” on ECM was released in 1983. This recording session helped her discover her talent for composing. Her compositions provide a bridge between the traditions which use Indian ragas and rhythmic structures which plays a vital role and while allowing scope for improvisation.
Apart from being a performer, she is a great teacher who has trained thousands of students all over the world.
