BLITZED – DRUGS IN THE THIRD REICHAfter five years of research, Norman Ohler‘s first non-fiction book, 'Der totale Rausch - Drogen im Dritten Reich' about the role of drugs in Nazi-Germany, appeared in 2015. Translated by Shaun Whiteside as 'Blitzed - Drugs in the Third Reich', it instantly became an international bestseller and has been translated into over 25 languages.

NORMAN OHLER is a novelist and film maker. In 1995 he published 'Die Quotenmaschine'; a detective story set in New York- the first hypertext-novel world-wide. In 2004, while holding the post of City Writer in Ramallah, Palestine, he was the last European to interview Yasser Arafat before his death. In 2006 he travelled through Iran and produced a podcast about his visits to Teheran, Shiraz, Yazd, and Isfahan.As a film maker, Norman Ohler collaborated with Wim Wenders writing the script for alermo Shooting', which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival 2008.
