Samyuktha R - Violin Immanuel T – Piano
This recital of violin and piano features a collection of varied classical compositions ranging from the Baroque to the Romantic eras by some of the renowned and innovative composers of Western classics alongside a couple of Indian classical and contemporary poetry.
The repertoire comprises of a violin Concerto and Partita by Bach, Spanish Dance by Granados and Bach, Thais Meditation by Massenet interspersed with a Mahakavi Bharatiar’s poem and a traditional Mangalam by St. Thiagaraja as the fitting finale.

Samyuktha is a disciple of Western classical violin under Sri V S Narasimhan, founder of the Madras String Quartet. Also trained in South Indian Carnatic music she has been performing regularly in India. She has completed her LTCL with distinction and is so adept and skillful in playing the violin that she captures the audience instantly and intensely.
Immanuel holds an Associate of Trinity College London diploma in Piano recital. He is a full time pianist and has accompanied various soloists and instrumentalists in and around the city and South India. Having worked with some international musicians, he is the accompanist for the Madras Musical Association and also teaches piano.
