Inter-School Football Tournament
„The ball is round and the game lasts for 90 minutes“ said the successful German football coach Sepp Herberger. This quote embodies the universal nature of football. At the same time, it is a classic example of German pragmatism which has left a mark on the game of football. Germany and the world of football are inseparable. It is therefore hardly surprising that the thought of Germany evokes memories of famous German footballers and the Bundesliga. Goethe Super League (GSL) would like to tap into this existing sympathy for Germany, foster interest in football and provide upcoming school players an opportunity to showcase their talent. GSL endeavours to promote interest in Germany and the German language through the medium of football. The tournament is being conducted in four cities this time in a bigger and better format: Chennai, Coimbatore, Trichy and Madurai. By the way, the game lasts for 40 Minutes
