Goethe-Institut, Chennai and InDaF - Indo-German Teachers Association will be conducting a 2-day German teachers’ conference for South India and Sri Lanka. Theme of the conference will be ‘DaF lehren – digital, kreativ & interaktiv’. 

Some of the aspects that would be handled are innovative and creative communication, storytelling and theatre in foreign language, memory training, playful and interactive learning.

Linguistic experts from Germany also help to define who an ideal German teacher of foreign origin is, methods of integrated preparation for examinations, how should the Indian German teachers’ bridge image and reality, German in schools, intercultural components and personalization in language classes.

The conference will conclude with a podium discussion on significance of foreign languages in the Indian school system with experts from the education field.
