As part of the 75 years of Independence celebration and the Freedom Project Goethe-Institut Chennai is organizing an interactive and thought provoking musical evening on 3rd September. Join us to learn more about our history and the unsung stories through the lens of past, present and future.

Program

5.00 – 5.30 pm: Conversation with the historian, Ms. Nivedita Louis
6.00 – 7.30 pm: A villuppaattu folk concert by Kalaimamani awardee Mrs. Bharathi Thirumagan​

This event is part of the project "Freedom". Commemorating 75 years of India's independence with 75 contributions, Freedom brings together artists, authors and thinkers from India and Germany to explore what freedom means to individuals and societies in a modern democracy.
