Sina Niemeyer is an award-winning photographer and visual lens-based artist from Berlin, Germany. Her work is best known for her unique way of synthesizing different media and material such as photography, video, text and archive material. In her independent projects she tackles stories of violence, loss and trauma, power structures and the unseen. Sina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography. Moreover, she regularly gives lectures on her work, teaches and completes assignments and research for German magazines as well as NGOs.
