Celebrating the 65th Anniversary of the Goethe-Institut on 23 August, 2025

Initiated in 2016 under the guidance of trombonist Lisa Sarasini, the Brass Ensemble is a dynamic extension of the Sunshine Orchestra, the flagship project of the A.R. Rahman Foundation. This unique ensemble brings together young, talented musicians from underserved communities, trained in both Indian and Western traditions.
 
Through rigorous musical education and mentorship from international artists, these children are empowered to pursue careers in music—as performers, teachers, and cultural ambassadors. More than just music, the ensemble fosters unity, cultural exchange, and harmony.
