Based on interviews with children, the Germany based "Performing Group" is staging their production of Chalk About at Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan Kolkata. The title of the play is a portmanteau of the two phrases "to talk about" and "to chalk", and it is a theatrical recital on several things regarding life - family, home, origins, gender, happiness, sadness, music and even food choices. The performers will use dance and theatre in order to create a pulsating portrayal that manifests the inherent differences in people.
