Durs Grünbein
Durs Grünbein was born in Dresden in 1962. Poet, essayist, librettist, translator. Lives in Berlin and Rome. Studied theater history at the Humboldt University in Berlin. His work has been translated into many languages and has received numerous awards, including the Büchner Prize in 1995, the Nietzsche Prize in 2004, the Pasolini Prize Rome in 2006, the Swedish Tranströmer Prize in 2012, and the Zbigniew Herbert Prize for International Poetry in 2020. Professor of Poetics at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, member of the Order Pour le mérite and several German academies. Sandip Roy
Sandip Roy is a writer, radio host and columnist in Kolkata. His work has appeared in the New York Times, the San Francisco Chronicle, The Times of India, Firstpost and other publications. His audio dispatch from Kolkata airs weekly on public radio in San Francisco. He is a columnist for Mint Lounge and hosts the Sandip Roy Show on Audio Express. His award-winning first novel is ‘Don’t Let Him Know’.
