Conceptualised and choreographed by Preethi Athreya

Preethi Athreya, through “The Lost Wax Project” questions established ideas of movement, touch and the creation of individual realities. The interrelation of the design of the performance and a specific sound scape hereby impacts the imagination of physical space, its influence on movements and thus, space’s influence on the moving and creating body.

The Lost Wax Project, the first part of the tripartite work that is being developed by Preethi Athreya, seeks to explore concepts such as body, space and transformation through potentiality.

The Chennai-based contemporary dancer and choreographer Preethi Athreya holds a post graduate degree in Dance Studies from Laban Centre in London and is trained in Bharatnatyam under the Dhananjayas. She has performed at various festivals across the world.
