Border Movement Lounge is a platform to showcase established and upcoming artists and producers from across South Asia. The lounge is an informal event format that hopes to foster a more open and interactive culture of electronic music performance, as well as a more well-rounded appreciation from the local music community.

Each edition of Border Movement Lounge, Delhi will focus on a different area of the region, partnering acts with local talent. Previous editions of the lounge have taken place in Colombo and more will be popping up around South Asia shortly.

About Border Movement:
Border Movement is a platform that aims to encourage interaction between the electronic music scenes of South Asia and Germany. Based in Berlin, the project hopes to raise awareness by providing content and discourse on artists, labels, trends, developments, clubs, festivals and house parties as well as news about jam sessions, happenings, exhibitions and installations, screenings, concerts, releases, projects, promoters, creators, and innovators in both regions.

Border Movement is a common initiative of the Goethe-Instituts in South Asia and a project realised in an alliance with partners.

Sunara is a DJ and visual artist from Colombo, Sri Lanka. Well known on the local underground electronic, scene, Sunara is one of the few DJs in the country who traverses other terrains such as glitch-hop, nu-jazz, hip-hop and funk. 
With her unique blend of funky and laid-back beats delivered with integrity and style, Sunara has made a name for herself as one of the most creative and entertaining DJs on the local circuit in Sri Lanka. Apart from her work as a musician, Sunara is also a painter and visual artist, producing vibrant and colourful work. She has a special interest in working with children as well as creating art using re-purposed and discarded material. 
About Moniker:
Editor of Indian magazine and cultural hub The Wild City, Moniker has a peculiar and varied taste in music. Straddling hip-hop, garage, grime, bass, house and techno, Moniker always brings an informative set. Having been a part of the underground electronic movement in London for a number of years he brings to the table an undeniably fresh sound to his live shows. 
Moniker has in the past curated and supported tours/shows with the likes of Skream & Benga, Modeselektor, V.I.V.E.K, Simian Mobile Disco, Phon.o, Doc Daneeka, Nosaj Thing, Kuedo, Sick Girls, Rudi Zygadlo, Gebruder Teichmann, Mother Perera, and many more, Moniker has become a pillar of the experimental/house/techno/bass music scene in India, representing artists not only from India but across the region through the Border Movement project.
