iF Design

iF stands for innovative design as a trademark since 1953 and is a market and trend barometer. iF hosts various annual design awards, the most notable being the renowned iF DESIGN AWARD.

The iF logo, which is given to the competitions’ award winners, has become an internationally acknowledged symbol of outstanding design.

iF aims to strengthen the public awareness of design. To achieve this, great care is taken in extending the communication network that has been built through the design-oriented activities held by iF over the years. With its long-time, multi-faceted know-how in the areas of competition design and management and in all questions related to design and economic issues iF has become one of the largest and most respected design centres in the world. 
 
iF Design in India
In 2017, 4 projects from India won awards. ­­­iF will celebrate these participants and winners and create more participation for the future by bringing together designers and design studios in Delhi, Ahmedabad, Mumbai and Bengaluru in August 2017.
 
At the ceremony in Delhi, there will be presentations by Frank Zierenberg, (Coordinator of the iF Awards, Hannover) and Sudhir Sharma, (Editor Pool Magazine, CEO INDI Design, Indian Rep for the Awards) followed by the felicitation of the winners and a Q&A with the audience.
