Design Documentary: Haus Tugendhat @ Bengaluru ByDesign 2018

The first screening in a series of four is:

Haus Tugendhat

The film tells the eventful story of an unusual building and its residents: Of the spirit of optimism in prosperous western Moravia in the period between the two world wars, the occupation by Nazi Germany, the expulsion and emigration of the Tugendhats to Switzerland and Venezuela, the first post-war years, when the house served as a private school for rhythmic and expressionist dance, and the decades that followed.
