Lakeside DOC Festival – 7th LDF 2019

The Lakeside Doc Festival – LDF, is a space for intensive viewing of benchmark and award-winning international documentaries. The festival focusses on serious, creative documentaries on wide-ranging themes of human interest that reflect a high professional level of the art and craft of the documentary. The setting is a non-metropolitan central Himalayan forest and lakeside with no parallel events and an unadulterated experience of viewing documentaries.

The Lakeside Doc Festival is presented by Formedia in association with and at The Lake Resort, Naukuchiatal, District Nainital, Uttarakhand, India. It has been mainly supported by Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan New Delhi, apart from donations by individual patrons. In-kind support for visits of international film-makers and screening fees has been provided by Embassy of Switzerland, Alliance Française, French Institut, Polish Institute.
