At a historical moment when public consciousness is being re-formatted to fit into narrow ideological frames, and we are rapidly developing an amnesia towards the rich, transgressive, complex histories that nourish us, poetry calls upon us to protest against forgetting, to liberate and reclaim the textures of memory.
We invite you to engage with six Bombay/ Mumbai poets, all of whom write in one chosen language yet read, speak or translate from several others.
