weathering: by Juliane Tübke

German artist and bangaloREsident@Pepper House, Juliane Tübke has been in Kochi for the past few weeks working on a site-specific installation, which she will present during an Open Studio on August 15 & 16, 2019 at Pepper House in Kochi.

© Juliane Tübke On August 14th, as part of the Kochi Biennale Foundations’ series Let’s Talk!, also at Pepper House, she will offer an insight into her artistic practice and present the first results of her new project weathering, the outcome of her residency. In the context of weathering, Juliane asks questions about human and non-human weather interrelations by interlacing individual and collective stories about the weather with imprints of architectural surfaces of certain buildings along the coastline of Kerala.
