This year, give your child a chance to have imaginative experiences through the arts with ThinkArts

For the 12th year in a row the Bookaroo Festival-India’s most-travelled festival, continues the celebration of children’s books, storytelling and reading. It will bring together children, authors, illustrators and books at the picturesque and expansive lawns of Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA). For two exciting days, stalwarts from all over the world will celebrate the joy of books and literature amongst them the arts administrator Ruchira Das from Thinkarts.

In collaboration with the Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan Delhi, ThinkArts Foundation shall conduct two workshops for children on 30th November 2019 at the Bookaroo- Festival of Children’s Literature in Delhi.
 
  • Klee, Cats and more

  • The Adventures of Emil

If Mrs Tischbein had known the kind of adventures her son Emil would have in Berlin, she would never have let him go. Join Ruchira as she retraces Emil and the detectives’ footsteps in the classic novel by Erich Kästner.

Ruchira Das ©Ruchira Das Ruchira Das, Founder & Director, ThinkArts, is an arts administrator with over 15 years of experience of working with various arts organisations across cities in India. She is an ARThink South Asia Fellow 2015-­16 & a Global Fellow at ISPA 2016. She has conceptualised several innovative art engagements for children.
She wears many hats but she loves the ThinkArts hat the most since it allows her to create and explore imaginative experiences for children through the arts.
