The book is about about a lady who wants to go on holiday with a friend. At the beginning you feel as if you are reading a thriller. On the way to the airport something unexpected happens. The help from a stranger ends in a tragedy. Then the happenings follow one after the other. Franz Hohler's speciality is bringing everyday life events to surprising climaxes by means of a fascinating plot.

Dr. Chaturvedi read out an excerpt of the hindi translation of Gleis4. With more than 30 years of teaching experience, she has been translating from German (Literature) to Hindi since 2012.
