Sometimes, the situation seems desperate. Climate change, the global pandemic, mass surveillance, to name a few examples where it seems like every social movement strategy has failed and battles are lost. With methods of thorough investigation, smart entertainment and clear ethical vision, needles of resistance can let in some air, and can allow us to heave a sigh of relief even in the darkest of political moments.
Jean Peters who works at the fringe of arts, journalism and activism is always searching for possibilities to fight up situations of hegemonic suffocating. As part of
Smarter Digital Realities,
Jean Peters will be in conversation with
Padmini Ray Murray.
