PECDA 2022
We are happy to collaborate with the
Prakriti Foundation on the
5th edition of
Prakriti Excellence in Contemporary Dance Awards (
PECDA), inviting
Melanie Zimmerman, Programmer/Dramaturge at
Kampnagel, Germany, to sit on the
Jury and offer a
Workshop on Dance Dramaturgy.
The Basics of Dramaturgy with Melanie Zimmerman
April 19, 2022 | 3.00 - 7.00 p.m.
Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan
Limited seats.
Registration is
mandatory.
This
workshop deals with the basics of dramaturgical practice in project development, in the context of the independent scene. How can a dramaturge support the choreographic process and work, how is it possible to find specific words for your own artistic projects, and how can we address institutions with our ideas?
Based on a presentation of programming and networking using the example of Kampnagel as an international production house, the workshop will explore the emergence of a project from idea to concept.
