We are delighted to participate once again in
AHA!, Ranga Shankara’s most ambitious programme to date, bringing the magic of theatre in all its aspects to children. Launched in 2006, AHA! has grown organically and continues to do so, adding programmes, dimensions, audiences, international collaborations and more, as one of the country’s most important and sustained theatre for children programmes.

AHA! 2022 presents the production
Sag Mal directed by
Ceren Oran.
Sag Mal is a dance theatre piece for the very little ones (age 2+), about communication without words. Two dancers and a musician narrate stories about different characters, identities and animals using minimalist means. They move in a humorous way against simple images through different habitats, jungles and oceans. The characters on stage learn how to communicate and understand one another without words. They develop their own common language with curiosity, fun and joy, since language is more than just words; it includes the body, facial gestures, body gestures, rhythm and sign language.
