For the first time, the Goethe-Institut South Asia is initiating a digital academy for translators from German into the languages of South Asia. The project will start in May 2023 with an online event.
The translation academy is aimed at literary translators who can further qualify themselves within the framework of this project. The aim is to promote the literary translation scene in the South Asian region, to strengthen professional ties between literary translators and to support their work.
The source language is German, the target languages include Bangla, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Tamil, Urdu, Singalese.
The deadline has been extended till 10th April 2023!
