Legion Seven

Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan New Delhi and boxout.fm will host Legion Seven for an intimate workshop and live performance at Auro Kitchen & Bar. 

Legion Seven's work is an erratic vehicle on a splendid path, emerging in bodies as diverse as the imagination. Their projects consistently depart from the literal cult rigidity into which Seven was born, delving into dream-mythology, science-fiction, chaos-logic, and exuberant lies. The wreckage of this rigidity will drape the path wherewith Seven gains momentum and puts momentum on display.

The workshop will take place on Sunday, 16 April from 4-7pm, followed by live performances from 8pm onwards.

The workshop will feature group exercises tailored to this specific event, transforming activities meant for visual arts or theater into activities through which we channel vocal and musical storytelling. Participants will explore the musicality of their texts and the narrative qualities of their music through the lens of their collaborators.

Live performances on the night will also feature New Delhi based Hiranya and Tsurbhi. 

Hiranya’s love for sonic experimentalism and training in Hindustani Classical music heavily influence her creations. Hiranya's DJ sets are deep colored and texturally eruptive, shaping an intimate atmosphere for listeners.

Tsurbhi is an experimental DJ comfortable with playing a range of genres from electronica to DnB. She favors bass-heavy, melodic mixes that are bound to get people moving and grooving on any dance floor.
