The next film we bring to you as part of our series CINEMATHEK: Film Screening in Your Library is, Hördur - Between The Worlds directed by Ekrem Ergün

A particular dream repeatedly overcomes 17-year-old Aylin in her sleep: A long path leads her faster and faster through branches and leaves through freshly airy woods. Yet before she can see where the path ends, she wakes up. The adolescent German Turkish girl desperately longs for the dream to go on. At school Aylin gets into serious trouble but is given a second chance: she is sentenced to community service at a horse stable.

Beset by troubles at home and school, it is here that Aylin, against the odds, finds the road to self-discovery. As the pace quickens, her blossoming relationship with the stallion Hördur is tested to the breaking point, as are her fledgling dreams. Can Aylin build a bridge between worlds? And if she can, will others follow?
