Short Film Festival
The
13th edition of the
Bengaluru International Short Film Festival (BISFF), which we are happy to co-host this weekend includes a special highlight: the
premiere of
Boodhi by
Emil Kalus, created during his
bangaloREsidency 2022 and
five films produced as part of the
Literature to Script Competition, organised by
BISFF and the
Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan. The scripts that got selected in the competition received a production grant of Rs.1 lakh each.

BISFF is being held from
August 3 to 13, 2023 in a hybrid
format i.e
online screenings from
August 3-13, 2023, and
offline screenings at
Suchitra Film Society and
Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan from Aug 10-13, 2023.
BISFF showcases shorts from across the world, creating a physical space for a great experience of cinema. It brings together keen, like-minded audiences for the filmmakers.
BISFF also exhibits works by past masters who have dabbled in short filmmaking that today as an independent art form.
