FIFA 2019 – an Online Football Gaming Tournament for Language Learners
Are you ready for some Football?
We are back with the second edition of our E-Sports Football Gaming Tournament for the language learners.11 Goethe-Institut i.e. Bandung, Bangkok, Colombo, Chennai, Dhaka, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi and Pune will play the PS4 game FIFA 2019 at their respective institutes and compete online against each other for this championship.

The preliminaries season kick off this summer! What are you waiting for?
- You must be a student at Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan New Delhi
- You should have experience with PS4
- You must be available on:

Stage I | Preliminary stage | 26 July 2019
In these internal knockout rounds contestants from the Institut in Delhi will compete against each other. The winner will qualify for Stage II and will represent his/her institute.
Stage II | Play-offs of Institutes | 02 August 2019
These online play-offs between the winners of Stage I will decide the best 4 Institutes who will compete in the grand finale.
Stage III | Grand Final | 19 August 2019
This is the final stage and will be in the month of August as a public viewing of the tournament.
The overall winner can look forward to a language course scholarship at the Goethe-Institut, at which the registration took place while other winners will be awarded Goethe goodies.
