Jaipur Literature Festival and Jaipur Book Mark (JBM),brings together a diverse mix of the world’s greatest writers, thinkers, humanitarians, politicians, business leaders, sports people and entertainers on one stage to champion the freedom to express and engage in thoughtful debate and dialogue. JBM, is held parallel to Jaipur Literature Festival, is the B2B platform.

This year Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan is coming up with series of interesting sessions at the Jaipur Literature Festival as well as the Jaipur Book Mark. Below are the session details:



JO Lendle © Mathis Beutel German author Jo Lendle will be a part of the festival and will conduct various sessions.
Jo Lendle, born in 1968, is a writer and publisher. Since 2014 Jo Lendle is publisher of the Hanser publishing group and lives in Munich. His literary work contains four novels, a story collection, translations and a children’s book. Seagull Press published the English edition of his novel All the Land in 2019.

Dr. Berthold Franke, Regional Director South Asia of Goethe-Institut will present a keynote in the session Why Read Translations at Jaipur BookMark 2020.






 Ján Tompkins © Ján Tompkins A Virtual Reality experience of one of the classics of world literature The MetamorphosisVR / VRwandlung will be also be showcased at the Jaipur Book Mark.
