By Awdhesh Tamrakar
11 February to 20 April 2020
11 am to 6 pm daily (except public holidays and Sundays)
The project is an interactive site-specific work. It is designed to question our notions of viewing and experiencing space in everyday life.
Technology is supposed to bridge the gap between time and space. However, our intense dependency on technology through the continuously developing gadgets is making us more distant from the tangible world and pushing us towards a virtually stimulated life. As the virtual world overwhelms our lives, we tend to look at what is real around us through instruments that create the virtual universe.
This project attempts to bring what is ´actual´ get noticed, through the instruments that create what is ´virtual´. The Actant will be using an app to create augmented realities, which will mix virtual elements to the actual surroundings to bring to notice what is unnoticed.
The project will be opened on Monday, 10 February 2020 at 6:30 pm. The artists will be present to introduce the project and accompany you as you step into a world of augmented reality.
We request our guests to carry smart phones as they may require to download an app to experience the best.
