The Book "Widerfahrnis"

Reither was a publisher in a big city. After closing his publishing house settled in the small valley. By chance, he finds a novel without any title. He brings it home and thinks he would read it. The same evening his doorbell rings and an unknown lady comes. After a small conversation both of them decide to set on a journey and they leave their place right at midnight. This lady has closed her shop where she used to sell hats. She has a feeling there are no more suitable faces for her hats and Reither thinks that there are more writers than readers. During their journey, they find love and meet an orphan girl, a man from Nigeria who helps him. These incidents trigger memories of loss, parenthood and the desire for a new beginning in them.
