The short film Baghdad’s Kiss tells a love story set in a conservative society ripped apart by wars and crises, Baghdad. The film shows how, despite the violence of terror and the attempts of extremists to kill love and life, it is love and life that always wins in the end.
Born in 1964 in Sulaymaniyah, Sawat is a scriptwriter and film director. He is known for his short films Corpse Nr. 51, The Goldfish, and Zara.
