Liberated Cities, Liberal Bodies
With all the change that has been forced on Iraq, the Impossible Theater Group has adopted a new technique for their plays. Their new project Liberated Cities, Liberal Bodies, employs a modern theatre method which relies on body language to communicate with Iraqi society through theatre across differences of orientation, religion or ethnicity. Participants are a selection from three Iraqi cities, different orientations, and religions, including Yazidis, Kurds, and Arabs. Modern theatre art blends with body language and their aspirations.
