Projects 2019

We are thrilled to announce the selection of eleven innovative projects to receive grants through the 2019 Spotlight Iraq program.
 
The call for applications Spotlight Iraq was announced on February 21th and closed on April 8th, 2019. One Hundred and Eight applications were received from more than fifteen cities of Iraq.
 

The 2019 Grantees are the following:

The Fifth Story, A Documentary Film by Ahmed Abid from Baghdad.
Teaching web programming, A workshop by Ahmed Salim from Fallujah.
Al Sadrea Chopin, a Novel by Hassan Falih from Baghdad.
Creative Writing, a workshop by Ahmed Mayahi from Diyala.
Are we addicted, An Art Exhibition by Rebeen Hamarafiq from Sulaymaniyah.
Comics in Sinjar, Comics training Program by Hemin Hamid from Erbil.
Black and White, A Documentary by Aymen Al Amri from Baghdad.
Light, Music workshop and Orchestra by Ameen Muqdad from Mosul.
I Will Wait, a short film by Mohammed Sherwani from Erbil.
The Assyrian Empire, a board game by Lanah Haddad from Erbil.
Used Doll Store, a theater play by Noor Al Huda Faraj From Basra.
