Andreas Kleinert

Andreas Kleinert, nasce a Berlino Est nel 1962; dopo la maturità lavora prima come addetto ai trasporti, aiutante di scena e attrezzista presso gli studi DEFA per i lungometraggi. Dal 1984 al 1989 Kleinert studia regia presso la Hochschule für Film und Fernsehen “Konrad Wolf” a Potsdam-Babelsberg, oggi Università del cinema, presso la quale dal 2006 Kleinert è professore di regia di lungometraggi. Dal 1989 lavora anche come scrittore e regista freelance per il cinema e la televisione ed è stato quattro volte vincitore del Grimme Preis.
